All women of the church family
are invited to join United Methodist Women to share
faith and fellowship. Anyone interested in joining should speak
to Doris Bradley, UMW President.
PURPOSE
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a
community of women whose purpose is to know God and to
experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to
develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand
concepts of mission through participation in the global
ministries of the church.
MEETINGS
General meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of
the month. Executive Board meetings are held when required. All
church women are welcome to the general meeting.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
A woman may become a member of the UMW by giving prayer,
service, and an annual pledge contribution of money, in any
amount, to the total budget. She shall contribute to, educate
for, and promote the total program of the women of Methodism.
